"I have enough time to rest, but I don't have a minute to waste". Come and catch me with your wise words and we will have some fun with our words of wisdom.
All that I long for-
Is to return to my home,
Is this too much to ask for?
Is this too much to long for?
All that I ask for-
Is to return to my Homeland,
Is this too much to ask for?
Is this too much to long for?
All that I have always wanted-
Is freedom for my country,
Is this too much to ask for?
Is this too much to long for?
I know I have a house-
But this is not my home,
I know I have a place to stay-
But this is not where I belong.
Though I enjoy many freedoms-
I know I am not free,
Though I live in freedom-
Still I long to be Free!

Your poetry is so very heart-touching! Would you like to share a poem on your homeland for the winter issue of the Lit eZine magazine? I know there are so many readers who would love your work https://manicsylph.com/lit-ezine-submissions/
No Freedom is never too much to ask for.. For it is our Sovereign right .. to be Free <3 🙏
I think, Sonam, that gratitude is most important when one is offered such support!

Moving poem using anaphora. Could your theme also fit with the theme of wind for the September poetry challenge? I think it could be profound as well.
thanaks for sharing your longings! Love and Joy.
Sorry. I hope your dream comes true.
I love tbis Sonam! 💖

Thank You Manic Sylph, this poem is not written by me. It was written by one of the Tibetan poets and a writer.
Okay! But if you have written any other poem, article or story, you could try that 🙂
