Why are you so Silent?

Why are you so silent?

When your countrymen continue to scream in great pain, Behind the bars with broken bones.

Why are you so silent?

When the monasteries and nunneries are destroyed and demolished down to ashes.

Why are you so silent?

When the forests are fired and trees cut down to Timbers in great number.

Why are you so silent?

When the monks and nuns in great numbers are forcibly evicted from their institutions.

Why are you so silent?

When the singers and writers are imprisoned for speaking out the injustice imposed upon them.

Why are you so silent?

When they mined minerals out of the mountains and made a whole lot of holes in the Himalayas.

Why are you so silent?

When they installed eyes on every street pole and watched you pee and peep in deep silence.

Why are you so silent?

When the rivers and rivulet are controlled by building dams after dams.

Why are you so silent?

When you are not dumb and numb enough to ignore the injustice.

“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 Jesus Christ is that name.

  4. Thank you for this as i read tears come out of my eyes. Thank you for reminding not to be silent when there is something wrong going on. As i read this i feel that our silence to the wrong doing that the world commit to itself means conforming to their action and saying what they did is just okay.

Our voice has capacity to change our world. Our thoughts even not popular is valuable to make a change.

Thank you very much for not being silent to us in sharing your thoughts,

    1. Thank You Apu Adman for taking the time to read it out. Thank You for choosing not to be a silent spectator over the injustice that existed all around the world. Yes, we all can make a difference in making this world a better place to live in and love each other. Thank you for the encouraging word.

      1. I believe that even our wisphering silent voice when united will be loud enough for our messages to be heard unless those whom we are addressing are dumb and deaf that does not care. In any case i know there will be a way.

God bless you and thanks again for this wake up call.
