Nice message. Buddha is a state of mind. Even for moment if we can dig deep and reach our inner resource and become a Buddha.
True to word Abhijit Ray Ji, being Buddha is not only about chanting mantras and circumambulating the sacred sites, its all about being a good human being to all the sentient beings.

Life won’t be hard in doing good things. It shouldn’t be good enough to bring goodness to all the people around you. Atleast being good to oneself is good enough to bring a goodness in one’s family. After all doing good things is not as hard as doing bad things.

I am a Christian and I have never heard the thought “be a Buddha”, but it is a good thought. The Christians at the Episcopal Church in Florida, USA, have been part of a food drive that has given thousands of pounds of food and finances to the local food bank, in order to meet the needs of many people whose income is gone because of loss of jobs and sickness. There are homeless and needy people all over the world that God and Jesus Christ, my Savior, wants us to help. We are told that when we “do this to the least of these” we do it unto God. I met His Holiness when he visited California State University at Fullerton where I was a graduate student. I was amazed at his ability to be nonreactive to the indignities and insults of Chinese imperialism. It seems that the subtleties of kindness and consideration, like the inclusive, nonviolent, caring ideas of Jesus of Nazareth should sooner or later be overwhelmed by the forces of violence, intolerance, and brutal force. Oh, how I long for a more empathetic world.
